How to Drop or Withdraw from a Course in Navigate

If you want to drop a course during the term, you must drop the course in Navigate by all posted deadlines. Check your Registration Statement to identify when the last date to drop a course is without a "W" grade and with "W" grade.

1. 1. Log-in to Navigate (Student)
  2. Click on the "Planner" tab at the top of the screen
  3. From the "My Planner" screen, identify the term the class you want to drop is located under. Click on the "View/Edit Schedule" button.
  4. Under "My Schedule" scroll down to the "Registered Courses" section (on the right-hand side of the screen).
  5. Find the course you want to drop. If you are within the drop deadline dates, then you will see the option to drop the course. If you do not see this option, then the drop date may have passed.
    - - Check your Registration Statement to find the specific drop deadlines for your registered courses.
  6. Click the three horizontal lines next to the course name and select the "Drop Course" option from the menu.
  7. Verify that you do want to drop the course. Check the Transaction Summary to confirm the course was dropped.
    - - You should also check your Registration Statement to confirm the class has been successfully dropped. Keep a copy for your records as it is the student's responsibility to drop courses by posted deadlines.
